Taking its name from the innermost layer of the coffee cherry, removed during roasting, this blend is a well balanced med-dark roast that begins with vanilla and toasted marshmallow on the nose. That first sip will bring out bright fruit notes developing into lightly sweet dark berry with roasted hazelnut, and tapering into a creamy finish with subtle hints of brown sugar and dark chocolate.
This versatile blend is perfect for those in the mood for a flavorful pour over or an intense medium body drip coffee with a hint of sweetness. It is also perfectly suited as a nicely balanced, elegant espresso.
